Hello!

Hi, I'm Stephanie—a passionate and experienced figure skater, coach, and lifelong student of the sport. With over 20 years on the ice and more than 8 years of private coaching experience, I bring a deep understanding of technical development, competitive preparation, and athletic growth to every skater I work with. I'm a certified U.S. Figure Skating coach and hold gold-level test credentials in Singles, Skating Skills, and Solo Free Dance. As a National Qualifying Series Competitor and two-time Pacific Coast Sectional Finalist, I remain actively involved in the USFS competitive pipeline, both as a coach and athlete.

I have coached skaters of all ages and levels in both Minnesota and Washington, guiding them through many milestones—including successful completions of Gold tests and competitive achievements. I specialize in Skating Skills, Singles, power skating, and competition-focused IJS strategies.

Beyond the rink, I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Nursing from Gustavus Adolphus College. Before I became a full-time coach, I worked as a pediatric oncology/bone marrow transplant nurse at the University of Minnesota Medical Center.

Balancing two demanding fields has taught me the value of discipline, compassion, and resilience—qualities I strive to pass on to my students. I’m committed to continued growth in both skating and coaching and regularly attend seminars and camps to stay current and inspired.

Whether you're stepping onto the ice for the first time or chasing your next competitive goal, I’m here to support your journey with knowledge, energy, and care.
